This a news podcast published every day by NYT, covering the latest news. Main focus is of course the US, but global topics are also discussed. This is done in an interesting and dramaturgical way  and relevant people are invited to every episode.

For example, when the US left Afghanistan and the Afghan troops retreated, the guest for that episode was a general from the Afghan Military.

We think this is a good tool to use when teaching civics since it relates to present happenings and dificulties in the world, and maybe that can help sparking some engagement in the students.  Additionally, it is a digital resource that helps keeping the education interesting and varied for young (under 40!) people.
